Title:                                    Territory Manager                                                                                                                                                                               
Job Summary:                  Focus on sales development of new and existing customers within assigned territory, while expanding the range of products and programs purchased to promote customer sales and profit growth. 

Status:                                Exempt, Salary + Commission

Reports to:                        Corporate Sales Director

Specific Duties:
  1. Serve as primary customer sales contact relating to goods and services.
  2. Manage, merchandise and process all required store level functions on a regular and timely basis.
  3. Travel throughout the assigned territory, calling on new and existing customers and building relationships.
  4. Penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives.
  5. Review and analyze daily and weekly reports in ebiz such as customer order history and sales/gross profit margin data.
  6. Utilize and apply customer profitability/pricing models to negotiate customer agreements.
  7. Lift/carry laptop and product weighing 1-40 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, to and from car, warehouse, customer locations, etc.
  8. Educate and promote use of our technology solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  9. Ensure customers are effectively purchasing goods to maximize customer sales profits. 
  10. Provides follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.
  11. Work non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) as needed in order to successfully meet customer needs.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree; Marketing, Business or Communication preferred with a minimum of two years sales experience; or equivalent combination of formal education and related experience. 
  2. Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  4. Possess a valid drivers license
  5. Maintain a good driving record
  6. Ability to travel daily and with occasional overnight travel
  7. Ability to work in a self directed manner and be a strong team player with the ability to maintain strong working relationships.
  8. Exceed sales goal achievement and performance measurements
  9. Demonstrate the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  10. Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
Typical Physical Demands:
  1. Requires prolonged sitting while driving, and frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and lifting when moving product.
  2. Daily use of computer.   

Typical Work Conditions:
  1. Usual office environment. 
  2. Daily travel to customer store locations.
  3. Involves frequent contact with customers, co-workers and the public.
